Welcome to The Wise Women Worship Ministry
The Wise Women Worship Ministry is a prayer/playgroup for women created to connect like-minded women, make new friends and enrich lives through the power of Prayer, the Word of God and friendship with each other!
Beyond our main fellowship, we run special initiatives to support widows and teenage girls in our community through our Widows Connect Fellowship and Teenage Girls Sanitary Pad Campaign.
We whole-heartedly promote periods of "recess" from the cares and duties of everyday life where women can gather for prayer, study, and mutual encouragement.
Our Special Initiatives
Targeted programs meeting specific needs in our community
Widows Connect Fellowship
Our monthly gathering that brings widows together for prayer, fellowship and support. We understand the unique challenges widows face and provide:
- Spiritual nourishment through prayer and Bible study
- A supportive community of fellow widows
- Monthly financial support to help with basic needs
- Foodstuff and essential item distributions
- Counselling and emotional support
This ministry meets every third Saturday of the month from 10am - 2pm.
Teenage Girls Sanitary Pad Campaign
Our quarterly program focused on empowering young girls through:
- Prayer meetings and spiritual guidance
- Fellowship with peers in a safe environment
- Self-development workshops and life skills training
- Free distribution of sanitary pads
- Education on menstrual hygiene and health
- Mentorship from older women in the ministry
This campaign holds every quarter, with the next edition coming up on 3rd Saturday of every month..
